Conversations with my Brain.

Me: This is easy, it’s basic algebra. I get this.

Brain: Lets not learn this, it’s boring.

Me: Ok, solve the following equation using the Quadratic Formula...

Brain: But there’s so many numbers here.

Me: It only looks complicated. Pay attention: x is equal to negative b, plus or minus the square root of b squared minus 4ac divided by 2a. Make sense?

Brain: I like purple.

  1. I think you need to substitute "Me" for "Lindsey" and "Brain" for "Baylee".

  3. Conversation in MY head:
ME: Why do I continue to read these posts?
BRAIN: Well...you gotta be thankful for her attention to detail. At least she got the Quadratic Formula right.
ME: Whoa, I didn't even realize I still knew the Quadratic Formula. And she did have that one inappropriate drawing of cleavage...
BRAIN: Seriously?! That's what you're going with as justification?! See, you NEVER think with me anymore!
ME: Shut up! Now YOU sound like Baylee. Always ripping on my personal thoughts.
BRAIN: Just stop talking...Besides, we're interrupting Baylee and Lindsey's back and forth commenting...on every post. Between you and me, I think she may just write this blog to give them something to talk about. It's sweet and sad at the same time...
ME: Finally we agree about something! Let's leave and watch the awkward exchanges continue...
